Use TurboTax to file a free federal and state return if:

Your Adjusted Gross Income is $39,000 or less, OR
You are eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit, OR
You are an active duty member of the military with Adjusted Gross Income of $72,000 or less

Your Adjusted Gross Income is between $16,000 and $72,000, OR
